If you knew someone was hooking up with randoms off the internet while their toddler was asleep in the house… would you consider that to be a CP risk?

Not on its own no.
If you had evidence of drug taking.. Neglect etc then yes

Thistlelass · 20/11/2022 03:09

Yes. I would recognise the potential for said child to be assaulted by one of the 'boyfriends'. The mum's lack of discrimination would concern me.

Not enough information..
It sounds risky and irresponsible but its not illegal

Very very ill-advised. CP unfortunately not as it is. Even though the most dangerous thing a mum can do is bring an unrelated man into her child's home.

What's your relationship? Can you babysit to reduce risk?

drug free and they don't stay the night I wouldn't consider it risky. If there are regularly different men she doesn't know well staying the night then I'd consider that there might be a child protection issue, more so if judgement is impaired by alcohol/drugs. Some children have been assaulted in such certain. It could be a very real risk.
