Coughing blood

I've been unwell since Tuesday. Sore throat, head and body aches and so tired. Work has been tough so that hasn't helped. Virtually lost my voice. No cold-sneezing or snotty nose etc. I'm still feeling rubbish and coughed up blood tonight-not a lot but never done it before. My chest is sore too. I thought it was just viral nut should I stay off on Monday and see Dr? Or nothing to worry about and wait it out?

I think coughing blood warrants seeking medical attention.

@GrazingSheep thanks. Honestly it's so hard when it's yourself and you know the knock on effects of not going to work but I know if it was someone else I would say go to Dr.....thanks.

I would phone nhs24 to see what they say. It's not something I'd leave till Monday. Especially if you're feeling miserable with a sore chest. Take care and I hope you feel better soon x

Had this 2 months ago also vomited blood. Ambulance was called and it turned out to be covid. Take a test just in case. ICU for 5 days.
