Recommend me a good journal

I'd like to start journaling, mainly to get things out of my head and to track my mood. I'm not particularly artistic, so unlikely to draw a lot in it, it'll be writing only, but I feel I might need some guidance regarding what to write.

Does such a thing exist? A bit of guidance, but still room to write a lot freely if I want. Also I would like it to be a beautiful journal 😆 I love beautiful stationery.

I tend to buy my notebooks from either muji or moleskins as I like simplicity. But just look on the net or stationery shops as to what grabs you.

Thank you, that's lovely and she has other ones listed to 😊

Just wanted to update, I bought a hitman from Etsy, the same seller as above but a different journal. I love it! It had plenty of prompts in that there are different headings to write under, that really helps me. Thanks for the suggestion 😊

ItsMeHiImTheProblem · 18/12/2022 22:27

I didn't buy a hitman 😂😂😂 should say journal ... I don't think I've ever used the word hitman, so god know why it autocorrected to that 🙄

Can't link on my phone. Well I probably can but I'm currently a bit poorly and thick so ... I picked up one from Amazon last month called The Check In Journal. Every morning you write three things about how you're feeling and check out at night. The rest of the page is a list for to do or any list you want to make. There's a two pages to a month calendar at the front, each check in is one page and there are a year's worth. At the back are lined pages and dot pages for notes on anything. At the top of the check in page you can circle the day and fill in the date. The calendar is also empty of days/dates so you can start it whenever. I wanted a decent to do note book/journal as lists are my friend and I was moving (moved yesterday!). I liked the look of this, similar to a moleskin but cheaper. I love it! The check in is great for seeing patterns in my moods and yes, it's just a journal but I feel that it's really helped me. I even wrote a review which I rarely do.

Oh, one other thing. It has two place marking ribbons. I use one for the daily and one for the calendar. Oh and another! It has short quotes at the bottom of each check in page. I might be slightly obsessed and I'm definitely getting another one next year. Just search check in journal on Amazon.

Is it this one?

IReallyLikeCrows · 19/12/2022 12:43

No. It's the Mål paper checkin journal. Just had a search and it's out of stock with a buying option where it's £36! It's not worth that much!

I'm sorry I've bigged it up and it's not available!

😮😮 it's ok, I've bought one off etsy for now, that I like, just thought I'd add that one to my basket ready for when I need a new one 😊

ItsMeHiImTheProblem · 19/12/2022 17:20

I found it on their site 😊
