What would you like for secret Santa?

I’m at a loss as to what to get my friend for secret Santa. Cost is around £25.
What would you like/not like, to receive as a gift?

I’m hoping I’ll get some inspiration as the internet has been most unhelpful and I’m feeling uninspired.

I’d like a voucher for a clothes shop or a Costa or Cineworld voucher .

I would not like an item of clothing.

Toiletries I don’t mind .

I would like a really lovely smelling candle for my home office or a pretty plant that's unkillable.

I'd also appreciate a really nice body scrub or Molton Brown shower gel. A lovely notepad for work, a really nice Christmas decoration. A trip to do a wreath making workshop (or something crafty that's not Christmassy of the gift is to be given too late). A great recipe book.

How about asking them to do an Amazon wish list? If I was the recipient I would rather do this than get something that wasn't quite right

A nice scarf
Bamboo socks
Disaronno (because that's what I drink). Booze is good, but not generic, get something they actually drink.

Some gold hoop charm earrings. - I've seen some on the Monica Vinader website, but if you got me a cheaper version I would be very happy.

The new Crumbs and Doilies recipe book, signed if you order it of their website. Or the new Mowgi recipe book.

As PP, anything Molten Brown.

Gift Voucher for Betty's Tearoom.

A coffee/tea hamper from Wittards.

Posh shampoo and conditioner set or hair serum that suits my hair type.

Cute handbag - if you get on sale you can get something v nice for that price.

Fleurdaisy · 19/11/2022 18:11

I’d be really pleased to receive a posh candle, or an Amazon voucher I can spend on Kindle books, a houseplant.
I wouldn’t like anything foodie or alcoholic drink. Or anything to wear. Or anything in the make up/ skincare type things as I’m allergic to so many.

Cheese

A tartan thermos flask

5 kg of peanuts for the birds

FireandBrimstone · 19/11/2022 18:15

Plants and plant pots.

Absolutely no hand cream ever.

Magazine subscription.

FightingFatAt49 · 19/11/2022 18:16

A nice candle or a really nice hand cream that I wouldn't buy myself, only buy cheapie ones but really love expensive hand cream.
