This happened in 2018 but it's in the news again now. Two women were murdered and it was entirely predictable and preventable.
We also have this story www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-63599799 A man with a long criminal record including assault while out on bail murders a stranger while out on licence. WTF was he doing out again? Why was he not penalised for committing one crime after another?
I've had a friend murdered by her ex partner who left her body for her child to find when she returned from primary school. I have another friend whose ex partner keeps being released in spite of him being a very real threat to her, having physically harmed one of her children with a weapon and who has access to firearms. I am so done with women's safety and domestic violence still not being a priority.
I'm so angry that I'm probably not even making sense but there's no excuse for this, is there?
