Anyone driven over the M62 between Leeds and Manchester in the past hour or 2?

If so, what was visibility like? (Am just debating with myself whether to make or postpone journey. ) In answer to the obvious question, I have checked the weather forecast and know it's cloudy and rainy, but it's not always obvious from the forecast how badly visibility is impacted.

I'm not sure haven't been on m62 today myself but I hear your reservation about the journey. I absolutely hate the motorway between Leeds and Manchester. I'm halfway, and although it looks pretty cloudy out it isn't misty. Can't guarantee that the moors won't be though.

I have just been for a walk up on the moors by junction 23 and there’s no fog at all.

I find if it's nice before setting off, you get to the tops and it's totally different. It's quite cloudy yes, but seems ok. Haven't been on tha stretch of motorway today (so not much help sorry). Saying that could be completely different higher up. Tried BBC weather website. You might be able to find better...

I'm near junction 21 and it's clear weather here at the moment. Quite sunny. The junction at Denshaw just before the house in the middle is clear and sunny too
