Hahaha asking for me as an adult and not a child.
My last baby tooth has just fell out but I've got a pot noodle ready to eat.
Can I eat it? 😂

Really depends on the flavour!

PeekabooAtTheZoo · 19/11/2022 11:56

Of course you can. Why wouldn’t you? The first thing I ate after 8 different tooth extractions was a pot noodle 🤣

Garman · 19/11/2022 11:57

Why couldn’t you?

Actually some of them were Pot Rice it was the late 90s and I was getting ready for braces. 🤷‍♀️

anariesfawn · 19/11/2022 11:58

@Garman I've convinced myself that if I eat when it's fallen out within the hour that I'm going to get a bad infection! 😂 no? Maybe I'm being dramatic! I have little experience with baby teeth coming out as an adult Grin

If its chicken and mushroom I always add a pinch of salt, pepper and a smidgen of chicken stock. You should be fine after a tooth drop, congrats btw

ofwarren · 19/11/2022 11:58

How come it's only just fallen out?
Don't you finish losing your baby teeth about 12?

JustCakeInDrag · 19/11/2022 11:58

I can’t see why not. Baby teeth don’t have roots so there shouldn’t be a cavity.

anariesfawn · 19/11/2022 11:59

@ofwarren oh god knows! The adult tooth did grow in front of it when I was about 10 but the baby tooth just never came out! It got wobbly around 5 years ago and the dentist has always offered to pull but I've been too scared! I started thinking it was never going to come out to be honest so this has been a surprise Grin

Make sure you put it under your pillow for the tooth fairy! 🤣

anariesfawn · 19/11/2022 12:01

@ofwarren hahaha hoping I won't be judged when I admit that I accidentally swallowed it while eating a Turkish Delight and only realised it had gone when I tasted the blood afterwards!!!! Blush can't write it, like an actual child!

OP how old are you? My DD2 had a baby tooth refuse to fall out even though the adult tooth had come through in front of it. Dentist said they would extract if it was still there when she 15. It fell out in the nick of time.

Enjoy your pot noodle 😊

ofwarren · 19/11/2022 12:02

🤣🤣
You need to leave her a note! That's what I tell my kids Grin

PeekabooAtTheZoo · 19/11/2022 12:03

LMAO enjoy your pot noodle and fingers crossed the tooth fairy comes with compound interest. 😂

anariesfawn · 19/11/2022 12:05

@fortifiedwithtea nearly 23!Grin

Will enjoy my pot noodle Grin panic over

Surely you should eat the pot noodle before the turkish delight, so, like a pudding.

Topsyturvy78 · 19/11/2022 12:09

Of course you can I went to school and had fish fingers and chips an hour after having a back tooth took out by needle in gum. There was no gap though the adult tooth had come through but the baby tooth remainned attached to one side of my gum on top of my adult tooth. Kept sticking my tongue under it. Was very odd.

anariesfawn · 19/11/2022 12:14

@Somanysocks Turkish delight snack while the pot noodle cools down of course Grin

Rinse your mouth with warm salt water after the pot noodle just in case

RoseBucket · 19/11/2022 12:30

If it was a Naked Noddle I’d say take the risk not so sure with a pot noddle.

maddiemookins16mum · 19/11/2022 12:39

I have a baby tooth behind one of mine, it would take a lot of digging to get it out,. It’s staying put for as long as needed.
A legacy of 1970s school dentists (shudders at the memory).

maddiemookins16mum · 19/11/2022 12:39

I’m 58!
