I'm on shift till 7.30 then home for... nothing. DH never engages in talk with me and apparently me talking annoys him. DC will be out with friends

Both DDs currently have friends over for a play date. For Twain's unknown, there is a lot of operatic singing and American accents

Wine as soon as they leave

I am going to my work Christmas Party.

CuteCillian · 18/11/2022 17:06

Off to the little local theatre with DD to hear readings of two winter tales based on stories by Charles Dickens. Probably have a cheeky cocktail afterwards. The perfect November evening.

Decorating! Nobody else is here for a few days so I'm enjoying the peace and getting on with it.

Sat on sofa recovering from gall bladder surgery hoping the 2 year old doesn't jump on me, whilst im feeling bad that he's full of beans as he's not had his usual park trips and walks this week

westthroughthewhitleywood · 18/11/2022 17:07

I'm going to have tea and go to bed. I've felt so fed up for the last month or so that's all I've wanted to do once DC are in bed!

ShadowNight · 18/11/2022 17:08

We are having fish and chips, then I will be crocheting, reading and relaxing whilst watching some TV. My eldest is working and youngest is out with friends.

ShinyPikachu · 18/11/2022 17:09

I'm fighting off a bug of some sort right now so I'm currently trying to find something to binge watch tonight in between naps.

TeddyTed · 18/11/2022 17:10

I’m sorry to hear that op, is he always like that? You can chat here with us.

IntrovertedPenguin · 18/11/2022 17:11

I'm cooking dinner and going to bed early with doctor who. Feel really rubbish lately.

Why won't your husband have a conversation that's not on!

DialsMavis · 18/11/2022 17:11

oh how miserable for you @rootbeerandginger
How long has it been like this?

To answer your question I will have a house full as DS is coming home from uni for the weekend so the grandparents are all descending. DD will play up and one of the grandparents will say something borderline xenophobic then get cross and complain about "wokery" when DH, the kids or I complain

ofwarren · 18/11/2022 17:15

I'm staying upstairs with my DS as he's had the flu spray vaccine and cannot be near my other DS as he's got an organ transplant and with it being a live virus, he has to stay away from him for a few days.
Both DC are over the moon 😆
