What colour are your small kitchen appliances?

Buying a house and getting some nice new things to replace our crappy old ones. Pondering options for kettle, toaster and, further down the line, coffee machine and maybe a Kitchen Aid. What colour are yours?

I don’t really know what I like, am stuck in a rut of choosing colours I’m bored of and am hoping this will make me consider options I’d not have thought of.

Silver/chrome.

I am boring.

MeanMrMustardSeed · 18/11/2022 13:14

Cream.

I am classic 😀

cookiecreammmpie · 18/11/2022 13:14

Pink.

hairyunicorn · 18/11/2022 13:14

Duck egg blue

TheHauntedPencilCase · 18/11/2022 13:15

Silver and chrome but only by accident. About to get a new breadmaker and chrome is £50 more so that'll be white.

Lcb123 · 18/11/2022 13:16

Silver and black, all Dualit so they match

BobbyBobbyBobby · 18/11/2022 13:16

Red, black and silver. I don’t like all
matching.

gwenneh · 18/11/2022 13:18

Red & silver. The mixer, toaster, and kettle are red. The air fryer/oven combo is silver.

Giggorata · 18/11/2022 13:18

Green or yellow, like the kitchen itself. I like things sort of matching, but not in a full set of things way.

Catlitterqueen · 18/11/2022 13:19

Green. Kettle, toaster and microwave.

RampantIvy · 18/11/2022 13:20

Kettle is a silver colour. The toaster, completely by coincidence is the exact same sage gree as our kitchen units. TBH everything except the ketttle goes in the cuboards when not in use.

Isseywith3witchycats · 18/11/2022 13:23

bog standard black and silver kitchen is pale blue cupboards

Same!

OrangePomander · 18/11/2022 13:25

Red, white and silver, not matching sets.

DarkAndDusty · 18/11/2022 13:30

I keep all that stuff off the counter out of sight nowadays. Feels much tidier and less stuff to wipe around every day.

No kettle (quooker). Toaster lives in a cupboard and only comes out for toasting time. Stand mixer also lives in the cupboard and doesn't get much use TBH. The only item on permanent display on the counter is the espresso machine because it's plumbed in.

Season0fTheWitch · 18/11/2022 13:30

Grey, I have the dunelm retro grey kettle and love it, everything else in the kitchen is grey too.

My kitchen aid in the pantry is Blossom with the copper bowl, which matches our copper coffee machine and storage in there too

paleviolet · 18/11/2022 13:33

Everything SMEG in white

FourTeaFallOut · 18/11/2022 13:33

They're an absolute hodgepodge of mismatched colours. Hot pink/silver/baby blue. It's not a design statement just a marker of the easiest thing to grab in the supermarket when the last one died.

UsingChangeofName · 18/11/2022 13:38

Kettle is silver and black. Microwave is white. Toaster is green. Coffee maker is brown. Toastie maker is silver with black on. Slow cooker is mostly black.

MeanMrMustardSeed · 18/11/2022 13:14

Cream.

I am classic 😀

Me too 😂 cream everything! My kitchen aid is "milkshake" and my kettle / toaster are the cream kitchen aid things 😊 looks good with everything!

WhyIsEveryUsernameAlwaysTaken · 18/11/2022 13:42

Mixture of pale pink and duck egg (cupboards and sideboards are grey so really brightens it up)

Ihaveawonderfulpartner · 18/11/2022 13:42

Smeg pink toaster and kettle. Love them and if they die I'll get exactly the same again.

I think I might go for Smeg this time around - they are so gorgeous.

All cream. I wish I'd bought a brightly coloured kitchenaid though as a contrast to all the cream!

CeeceeBloomingdale · 18/11/2022 15:25

Red. I don’t decorate the walls etc with colour but like colourful accents
