Evri - I'm fuming!!

I was beyond thrilled to have snapped up a couple of designer items in almost new condition from Vinted. Together they would have cost me £800 new retail, but I only paid £54 for them total.

They were both promptly sent and I've been tracking the delivery status of them. One has been stuck in the depot for 5 days and the other for 2 days. Today I received an email stating that one was delivered to my collection point, and then this was promptly followed a minute later by another email saying they had an issue delivering my item and they would update me tomorrow. The same thing then happened with the second item.

I'm so worried both have been lost. Incompetent fucking company!!! Although I will be compensated back the money I paid, I will not be able be able to find the same items again for such a bargain of a cost.

How does this happen? Where could they be? And what happens to the lost packages?

Um what, I thought it was update you tomorrow, is something missing in your post, how did you go from updated tomorrow to being compensated?

I've had this a couple of times. They did arrive a day or two later with no issues. I think the delivery had never reached the parcel shop on the missing days - the tracking must have some sort of automatic update.

The people at the collection point told me the driver gave them a list of names who were meant to receive parcels (looked like about 5-6 names) but they weren't on the truck. He told them they may be lost.

I've just had a refund from Vinted for a parcel Evri lost. I'm glad it was only a tenner but I'd been looking forward to getting it. Evri are awful.

Also should say I met a friend the other day who told me she had a similar issue with missing parcels from Evri and was trying to sort out compensation. So that's got me panicking mine are lost

So despite an email saying they hadn’t been delivered, you still went to the collection point and gave your name? Why?

My parcel has been with them since Monday and no sign/update of them delivering!! No-one to speak to either!!! Grrr

That's reassuring. I hope this is the case for mine as well. But to have something stuck in the depot for 5 days before stating it was out for delivery doesn't fill me with loads of hope. Why was it there for 5 days? Just seems the perfect place for it to go missing

Haven't every just done a deal with Royal Mail? Insane idea unless you get to guarantee that you aren't using evri. They are constantly unreliable.

I had the same with a fairly expensive purchase from vinted!! Sure they peeked and pocketed it!

I've dropped some parcels off stuff I sold on eBay at the parcelshop. All delivered except one. It says we are waiting for your parcel. Parcelshop says it's been collected. Evri say I have to contact a company called Packlink as it's to do with them. Well the robot I spoke to said this. They're a f ing nightmare

Yes. Because I didn't realise I had received 2 emails to say both hadn't been delivered. I saw the first one, but am expecting a few items, so wasn't sure at that point which items had attempted to be delivered until after I got to the shop and double checked my emails. I was passing the shop as I walked home from the station so didn't go out of my way. Also the status on the Vinted app said it has been delivered. It's only when I click the tracking that it takes me to Evri where it says there's an issue

I've just about given up with Vinted after initially being very impressed. Now 50% of the items I buy are not as described (described as brand new but in reality are clearly worn and often damaged), the Evri parcel lockers are constantly full, and the last straw has been an item bought as a Christmas present mysteriously disappearing. For this last item, Evri claimed they dropped it off at the collection point, I tried on several occasions to collect it only to be told it wasn't there, then it was marked as collected. Now Vinted are studiously ignoring the refund requests from me and the poor seller 😡

I order too much from vinted and every time I use evri the parcel has been slit open down the side. Obviously they arent interested in toddler clothes or the other rubbish I buy 😂i wouldn't use them for anything valuable. Fingers crossed for you op.
