Miserable isn’t it? Sad

So miserable. Sympathies.

Have you lowered your standards sufficiently? As much telly and snacks as they like?

Do you have any balloons? Blow some up and them to play keepy uppy while you lie on the sofa.

It’s awful. Set them up with drink and snacks. CBeebies, colouring, duplo. Dose yourself up. You can do this

jevoudrais · 17/11/2022 18:51

Oh it's horrendous! Do whatever you need to cope. Eat potato waffles in front of the tv and don't leave the house unless you have to! Hope you feel better soon.

Chdjdn · 17/11/2022 18:52

Me too, I feel awful that he wants me to play and I feel so ill

Nectarpeach · 17/11/2022 18:52

Extremely, can't breath through my nose, feels like I'm coughing my lungs out and a nail is hammering into my skull. All day my 16month old has been climbing on me and my 4 year old wants something every 5 seconds. Work has nearly killed me this week, the knowledge that I'm off this weekend and can "rest" is getting me through it

Peteryougit · 17/11/2022 18:59

It’s shit.

TV. Phone/Ipad. Chocolate. Crisps. All the toys strewn on the floor.

It won’t harm them but it will make you feel like you aren’t about to die.

"everyone fed and nobody dead" is a worthy achievement some days
