Hey! looking for some advice. My daughter wants an iPhone 😅 has anybody brought a refurbished one? Looking for some reviews before I purchase. Thank you

Every iPhone I have bought for my DD (on our third) has been a refurb. One was replaced without charge under warranty when it stopped working properly. Really good value and pleased with the service. We used music magpie.

Giffgaff is normally pretty good for second hand- I haven't had an iPhone but have had 4 phones from them

Yes - DS has had 2 refurbed iPhones and DD one. No issues with either.

DP bought me a refurbished one from Apple for Christmas last year. I had a problem with it, in that we couldn't get Face ID to work and every time I tried to set it up, the phone switched off. I took it to the Apple store and they couldn't fix it so they replaced it immediately with another refurbished iPhone. Fantastic service. The first one didn't put me off, I'd definitely do it again. Apple use brand new Apple parts to refurbish the phone so it really was as good as new. The first was obviously just an unexpected glitch.

I bought a refurb for my DS the Christmas before last and it's still going strong - no problems. Bought from music magpie

Absolutely! Refurbished iPhones are typically a wise option — especially if you have a clumsy kid on your hands, or want to introduce someone in your family to an iPhone for the first time. I recently purchased one from BuyBackStore and it made a great impression — the iPhone was function-tested, clean, and came with a warranty. If you’re still in the market, Back Market, Swappa and Amazon Renewed are other popular, reliable refurbished-device sellers. Just make sure to buy from sellers with warranties and good return policies to ensure you feel comfortable about your purchase.
