What a bloody mess!

What a bloody mess this country is in. I have been waiting 3 years for a dental appointment as I need a bridge. I managed to make an appointment 20 months ago for next March but received a text last night saying my appointment was cancelled.
When I phoned the surgery this morning, I was told they had to cancel all non emergency appointment as they were too busy and to ring again to make another appointment after April next year! If I get an appointment it will be for at least six months after April so that means I will have waited 3 and a half years just to be see.
I can not go private as it is far too expensive.

Our kids now have to have private checks ups at our local dentist. It's insane but it's their only set of teeth so we have to suck it up. I needed one crown, yes private, nearly fainted but what to do. Stuck it on credit card and paid it off over a few months.

Yeah, cost me almost 5,000 for dental bridge private but mine was practically falling out. Credit card had to be done. Everything has gone to shit in this country.

Yeah it's insane. I've not been seen since 2017, I can't afford to go private and now my toddler has to go private because nowhere in a 30 mile radius is even taking on children. Welcome to the not-so-subtle privatisation of the NHS!
