Hi, I have signed up to start one next month and if I'm honest I am completely clueless about coding.

They say that it doesn't matter if your a complete beginner, but I would still like to know more info.

Can anyone on here tell me what to expect and if you found employment in the sector after?

I am quite suprised how intense the timetable looks.

Wow op looks like there aren’t many front end developers on mn!! I am thinking about a career change and this is something that’s interested me too! What have you done previously? Interested to hear your story and how you are getting into a tech career Xx

I have tried so many different things mainly creative, but trained in childcare which I was in for 5 years then left to work in market research.

I do love problem solving and being busy at work.

I did a similar career shift a few years ago - though not a bootcamp, self learning. Was on about £40k before, last year made over £200k contracting. So would recommend. The learning curve is HUGE and yes quite intense, but interesting. If you have an artsy background then frontend is a good niche as you have to think about people and uncertainty, and computer science grads can’t compete. Really good front end devs are in demand and ime quite rare

That's amazing. I hope to achieve that wage in the future
