I'm in South London. It was bloody scary. My DD thought we were being bombed. I've never heard thunder like it.

Yep, huge lightning! Seems to have calmed down now though.

Sw London. Was about 10 mins ago. Brightest streak of lightning just before it that I've ever seen. Poor cat nearly died of fright!
