Well I am just a baby of 47 but if it was literally just those 4 retailers I will have shower gel/bubble bath and chocolate please.

M&S have touchscreen gloves for £7.50, so something like that and some chocolate. Or alcohol, they have some festive looking bottles in the food hall.

I'd buy wine from M&S or Waitrose.

Chocolates or wine.

Chocolates, wine, Xmas handwash

Stationery, chocolate or good quality tea/coffee.

Five 500g packs of 20% fat beef mince from Waitrose, please.

Waitrose usually do a £10 fine wine offer in November or December each year, if you Google you'll probably find previous years dates.

I'd get a bottle of sparkling wine from that offer.

Wine would always go down for me. However, I do regularly ask people for M&S biscuits.

The M&S cinnamon, cranberry and orange candle please. It's exactly the same as the White Company Winter range but half the price.

A small box of chocolates, quality rather than quantity. I don't drink alcohol so I wouldn't want wine

I'd LOVE a John Lewis / Waitrose voucher to put towards something I really want.

I wouldn’t want chocolates or wine because both give me migraines. I’d prefer fluffy socks or gloves. Or a load of Percy Pigs.

An Amaryllis and then there would be money for something else

M&S cremant de Bordeaux is jolly nice and exactly a tenner.

2.5 boxes of Waitrose Lebkuchen selection

I would have theM&S pink Prosecco.

I think this shows how different we all are! I would love the Cremant or the candle from M & S mentioned above, or nice chocolates.

Unless you know the person really well, I think consumables are best. They’re never going to lurk around. I don’t drink wine but have received lots in Secret Santas but it’s easy to regift or take to a party over the festive period.
