Why does being cold make me feel sleepy

Im typing this wrapped in a fleecy blanket wearing a fleece hoodycand j

Hoody and jeans. Fingers feel really cold. I just feel cold and really sleepy tired. Im not moving much its too cold. Am i tired cos im cold?

For me - I feel cold when I'm tired so the opposite of what you describe.

At the extreme end of the spectrum, hypothermia would cause you to feel sleepy but if you're inside that's very unlikely?

Well your temperature drops when you're going to sleep so maybe that?

I'm like @crunchieroxks and feel cold when I haven't slept properly.

Could you be cold and tired because you haven't moved around much?

Simple to check this out, run up and down stairs a few times or do some other physical activity and see how you get on.
