We're going to london in Dec. Will be staying near King's Cross but happy travel. Will be eating out each day, is there anywhere we should particularly try?

Inamo used to be good, interactive table, set your own ambiance etc.

I don't think you can beat China town, it's fabulous.

Somewhere up high tpne

The Rainforest cafe is grossly overpriced for the quality of the food, but as a one off it really is good fun for kids that age.

Not a restaurant but have you seen KidZania in London? It's meant to be very good if you're looking for something for the kids to do.

Marugame is a very affordable chain with several branches - they do a kids’ meal of noodles, juice and an apple (although last time they didn’t have fruit so maybe it’s changed), plus tempura as extras- chicken, prawn, sweet potato, etc. The best bit is unlimited self-serve ice cream. Oh and the Japanese toilets with heated seats and water spray to wash your bum! Adult food is really good too, Japanese curry and noodle dishes.
