Is there any advice anyone has where I can speed it up and feel better sooner?

I'm on day 3 and I feel like death. Paracetamol and ibuprofen are taking the edge off but not by much. My children are off school I'll aswell and I'm really struggling to even get up and make them somthing to eat. I've been drinking lots of water and resting where i can but oh God I forgot how awful the flu is. I last had it around 3 years ago

I'm sorry I can't help you with this one but I'm here to say I have the flu which seems to be one of the worst I've had.

I have a very sore throat and runny nose, feel cold and slightly dizzy. Last time I had a very severe sore throat I took Covid test but it was negative. It was very bad and lasted for two weeks or so.

This time I feel cold and my throat hurts and my nose is blocked. Covid negative.

I really wonder if it's really flu? Because I really don't catch a cold and even if I have it, the symptoms weren't severe but since 2022, I started to feel really ill whenever I have flu symptoms. Very weird.

I have flu, feeling dreadful, with that symptom of feeling cold and other family members have been the same too. It seems to be a vicious strain of it.

High dose vitamin C, suck sugar free sweets, stay hydrated and keep your head and feet warm, wear a hat if need be. Rest and sleep.
