In my current role I earn £32k but the flexibility is amazing. Core hours are 4 hours a day and can build flexi time for two days off every 4 weeks. 32 days leave.
Have an interview for a similar position with a £50k salary (plus 10% bonus). The website states they have flexible working hours, core hours are 6 hours a day (school hours) but no flexi-leave. 30 days holiday with the option to buy/sell up to 10 days.
Now I know I’ve got the interview to get through but what would you value more - the money or the flexibility?
Extra information:
- Two toddlers
- commute is around the same
- Husband earns a decent salary so we are comfortable with what we have financially.
- better progression at interview place
