I have 3.5 year old twins (girls), who love paw patrol - one probably slightly more than the other but they both love it.

DM went to Smyths toys at the weekend and bought a Paw Patrol Annual book, she said it was for xmas. Then she said that she'd only got the one as didn't see the point in getting 2. That was my first sign that we're in trouble - I mean why do they have to share? They're not 1 person just because they're twins.

So today one of my girls (the one who loves PP a bit more than the other) is off school as she had a bit of a bad tummy. My DM rings me at work around 11am and puts my DD on. She's so excited that she has a big Paw Patrol book and how exciting it is. Speak to my DM and say I thought that was a xmas present (DH and I had already agreed that we'd buy a 2nd annual book and wrap it up to save arguments)? but no she's decided that she just can't wait and wanted her to have it straight away.

goodness knows what my other DD is going to do when she gets home from school and the book is being paraded around.

It's so frustrating

MM caveat - I'm of course very very grateful that my DM stepped in and looked after my DD when she was poorly and I had to work and of course I'm grateful that they buy them presents. This is not an ungrateful goady post

Does she have a favourite twin?

Yeah, tricky. DM needs to get other dd a little present.

She needs to OK all present given through you or your husband in future
