Hi - I cannot find out how to claim the energy help for those who do not have electricity or gas but use oil ? Any ideas? Thank you.

I've no idea but we've got oil (and electricity). I believe they decided they'd pay it via the electricity companies but I've heard absolutely nothing - and no idea how they're going to know who's got oil! On my estate alone there are houses with oil, LPG, ground source heat pumps, air source heat pumps and even storage heaters. That's out of 40 houses!

I topped up just about 2 weeks ago so was trying to research this and I only found some vague articles about how it will be paid to the electric bill, no idea or any timeline or any more information 🤷‍♀️

I know Martin Lewis has been asking about this for months. See what it says on the MSE website.

I'm not sure he's had an answer though.
