New to this, more a rant.
I bought a new build and it’s been a nightmare. I have busy and stressful job and thought a new build would make the process easier.
Problems so far:
House delayed by 9 months, 23 completions dates later finally moved in
They installed the wrong kitchen and bathroom
Bathroom was blocked
Bathroom baths hadn’t been plumbed in correctly so the whole bath leaked down into the downstairs (Caused damage and Mould)
Drainpipes not secure
paint work awful and the painters them damaging my floor with paint
damaged doorframe
damaged front door
they randomly turned off the wifi without notice
the road is complete
they keep wanting to turn off the electrics with little notice that prevents me WFH and they need access to the house
lights not correctly installed
plugs missing
gate not being secure
I have to supervise everyone that comes into my house as the developers send people with no information on the job.
people turn up to my house whenever when I’m trying to WFh
is this normal? All this causes me so much stress as I’m constantly chasing them with issues that have happened but have no time to do this due to how demanding my job is
