Just how bad are our cat B mens prisons these days? I read about really severe staff shortages in some places such as the Isle of Sheppy where there were riots a while back and staffing levels are still very poor. Meaning education & exercise is curtailed etc. Are our prisons in crisis? Are they really as violent as you sometimes read?
