How to holiday with 3 bedrooms/4kids?

Hi, my DP and I would love to take our kids on holiday in Europe next Summer - perhaps Italy, Croatia, Cyprus, Spain, Portugal or somewhere along those lines.

We have 4 kids between us, the youngest will be 5 and 6, the eldest 11 and 12, and so we will need to have 3 separate bedrooms that interconnect. As the kids are from seperate families they can’t all bunk in together or with us.

the obvious answer is a villa, but I’d really love to take them to a resort style place with pools, restaurants, activities, kids club etc. Some of the kids have never been abroad and I’m sure they’d love a mix of easy on-site things to do as well as exploring locally.

can anyone recommend any options to look at? So far we’ve taken them all to a caravan holiday park in the uk which worked well in a big static caravan, but I’m a bit stumped about where to look abroad as the travel agent websites don’t have a way to search for this configuration as far as I can tell.

Eurocamp or similar might work?
They are in a lot of countries.

Villa on a resort, or static at somewhere like Canvas/Yelloh/Eurocamp.

Thankyou, I’ll take a look at eurocamp, canvas and yelloh.

Any other specific names/locations to look up are very welcome

We stayed at Quinta do Paraiso in Carvoeiro, Portugal. It was 15 years ago, so not sure if it’s still the same, but we rented a 3 bedroom Villa with its own pool. It was part of a bigger estate, with use of 2 restaurants, a larger pool, mini golf, play park and a kids club. Also walking distance to the beach and lots of other restaurants. algarvillas.net/3-bedroomed/casa-das-pegadas-quinta-do-paraiso-66883-al
this was the one we rented - we enjoyed it very much

Similar to @Budgiegirlbob - we stayed in Spain on a resort with good facilities including kids’ clubs 15 years ago, but I'm
not sure from their website if it’s the same now.
Lovely resort though, with a small beach, several pools & restaurants, and well sited on Costa del Sol with bus stops on the main road (Spanish buses are cheap & good)

I agree it is hard to search for on travel agents websites. I have only one child, but I want a 2 bedroom apartment/interconnecting rooms as I don’t want my child sleeping in my room, nor in the living room (as I want to sit there in the evening) nor do I want to sleep on a pull out bed in the living room when I’m spending £2-3k for a week, I want a proper bed thanks. Yet no one seems to offer the option to filter search options to only include 2 bedroom apartments or whatever, so I’ve spent hours trawling through websites clicking on hotels that come up then looking at bedroom options.

i just don’t think wanting interconnecting rooms is that unusual?!?

Google family hotels with private villa/bungalow

there are plenty - you’ll pay for the privilege though

TUI do let you specify how many rooms you'd like on their website which we found quite helpful, but not if you're looking specifically for a villa.
