Distraction works for me if you're able to play Tetris or candy crush or something

Is there a picture on the wall, or something else that is quite detailed. Describe it to yourself in your head. What colours are there, what is in the picture. Go around the whole thing in as much detail as you can. Tell a story about what you see.

I've found icing my vagus nerve to be life changing during attacks.

Put something icy cold like a can of soda over your chest just above your cleavage and below your clavacle(sp?). Let it sit there for a few minutes while you do deep breaths and within 5mins my panic attacks stop dead.

Sour candy is also a good option to trick your brain.

Hugs, OP. These are never easy to experience.

Breathe very slowly into your stomach. In through nose out through mouth. Imagine a wave - in is up, hold along the top then out is down. Keep breathing the wave. Sympathies it is will pass x
