The country here in Ireland is devastated at the loss of a remarkable woman who has shown incredible bravery in the face of her cancer diagnosis and mis diagnosis.
I'm so very sad for her family.

I felt so sad when I heard the news this morning even though I did get the impression a few weeks ago from social media that it wasnt unexpected. Such an amazing woman.

A very brave and strong woman. Very hard for her family. But she has a legacy at least. RIP Vicky.

Peridot1 · 14/11/2022 12:35

Oh no. I know it was expected but it still feels like a shock. Poor poor woman. And her poor family. She was so brave. And tried everything. So unfair.

JanetSally · 14/11/2022 14:02

A brave woman. Some people should be hanging their heads in shame today and during the too many days in recent years when Irish people have been paying tribute to women who lost their lives unnecessarily to cervical cancer.

Caiti19 · 15/11/2022 09:56

I've been in tears the past hour. She fought so so hard to survive. What a woman. What an impact. I hope her legacy softens the family's grief in time.
