Probably should put this under DIY but have work to do this evening and so am in an “avoidance/chat” kind of mood…
I live in a terraced house built in 1935. I want to redecorate but I don’t want to “fight” the style of the house. It’s actually been massively souped up with a basement and roof conversion (originally 2 up, 2 down but now double the amount of space) but other than a dormer window, the changes aren’t obvious from the outside.
I’d like to redecorate internally in a way that suits the age of the house but I’d also like to make it look a bit more interesting from the outside without completely deviating from the overall “look” of the houses in the street.
This might be an impossible question to ask given I don’t want to post any pictures of my house but is it possible for anyone to give any ideas?
