Household bills for a 2 bed flat

1 adult and 2 children?

I have no idea what to expect and trying to predict budget!
Also do you have to make one off payments for gas, water etc when you move into somewhere?

I think it really depends where you are?
I'm in Northern Scotland. about £100 for CT and we only have electric and after investing in door curtains, plastic window wrap and electric blankets we are less then £90 a month for our prepayment metre and that's with the heating on and we have an open fire but I'm about £150 every 4 months for coal and get a lot of free wood from unwanted pallets.
No one off payments for us
