Surely I'm not the only one who feels like this . My childrens "items" toys( mainly toys!) clothes shoes all the things that children acquire does it bug you seeing your house always covered in it?. We live in a small cottage and I try to keep it in their bedrooms now there older but it just gets right on my nerves it being around the home constantly

It depends what it is. Some I've made part of the "decor". Most of it it's put in some kind of storage. The few bits that are out for no reason(and no place to put them do bug me but I try to keep it to a minimum and then try my best to ignore it. Or at least have it placed nicely/strategically so it looks on purpose rather than "fuck we have too much shit again". Grin

I was totally baffled by your title OP!!!

No I don't mind the stuff. Some of it I know won't be around forever, we only have one DC so I like seeing her bike, scooter, play kitchen etc.

Some of the less aesthetically pleasing stuff I keep in her room or out of sight but generally her toys are quite pretty or little so can be tidied away.

All the stuff makes me unhappy. I find it stressful not being able to have a quiet, tidy home most of the time.
