Legoland for 3 year old?

Has anyone been to Legoland lately and would be able to advise on what age range it's suitable for?

DS (3) is obsessed with Duplo at the moment. Mostly building robots. I think he plays with proper Lego too at nursery. It's very hard to get him out of the house but I thought a trip to Legoland could be something he'd genuinely enjoy. He's small for his age and quite risk averse so there would need to be lots of toddler-friendly activities in order for him to enjoy himself there.

I personally wouldn't bother, my daughter is a little older, but she's only tall enough for a small selection of rides, their organisation if getting people on and off rides is awful and painfully slow, and it is often hideously busy, so we've only usually managed 4 or so rides in a day. If you do go, look at using tesco clubcard vouchers or similar to keep the cost down as it is hideously expensive and predictably expensive for stuff once there too!

If you can go on a school day in term time it would be lovely!

Agree - there’s a whole area called DUPLO land I think, with a great playground and v little rides if he’s nervy. There are plenty of v easy rides (fairy tale brook, helicopters etc) which have zero “thrills” but are fun too. And the whole Lego world areas to admire. Def try to get tickets at cheap off peak toddler prices but I’d recommend if he loves Lego.

And the little duplicate show.

If its not busy it's great for little people!

Duplo ...crazy autocorrect!

There’s loads for a 3 year old:
Duplo Dino coaster
Deep sea diver adventure (and an aquarium area afterwards)
The coastguard boats
The trains (there’s even a Duplo one!)
Fairy tale Brook
Magical forest
The dragon play area
L-Drivers
Miniland
Duplo valley airport
Duplo valley puppet show
A miniature version of a big wheel
Pirate gold wash

Loads for that age, it's quite a "young" theme park, ours ranged from 2-5 the times we went, lots to do.

We were at legoland last weekend and we thought it was great. If you download the app and put it his height it’ll tell you what rides he can and can’t go on.
We also stayed in the castle hotel which was really good!

I went years ago with a 5 yr old and a small for age but determined 3 yr old. They loved it. Take coats, drinks and snacks.
