What would you wear out for dinner these days?

Haven’t been out for ages and my usual uniform would be skinny jeans and top but I fancy something different.

I have some ankle grazer cigarette style jeans in black that I thought might work but can’t seem to find any tops that I like and not sure what shoes would work.

im short and pear shaped for reference and I always end up feeling under or over dressed when I go out!

Everywhere is more casual now I think. I went out last night and wore a corduroy shirt dress and trainers. Admittedly it was just a local independent pizza place and we walked there so that dictated shoes.

It depends where you’re going. Pub, posh restaurant, pizza place?

I went out, with some friends, last weekend for dinner in an Italian Restaurant. I wore black, skinny jeans, boots and a smart(ish) top. Most of us wore jeans or trousers, a blouse or jumper and boots. One wore a midi length skirt, white tshirt and cardigan.

People don’t tend to get all dressed up now unless it’s a formal do in an upmarket restaurant. Some people still like to put their best frock on to go for dinner though. I think anything goes these days.

Flare and bootcut jeans are in which are perfect for short pears ( I'm an hourglass but short ) ..
They look great with a bodysuit and a blazer if you want to fancy it up a bit ?

Yes but bootcut is such a flattering look especially in black I'm not arguing ✅🤣
