Eon Next

It would appear that certain Eon Next customers are having £67 debt added to their accounts.

Yesterday my zero balance account was showing as £67 in debt.

I phoned them and they told me that it was effecting certain customers and they were not sure why.

To put it right they had to transfer £67 into my bank account and then I had to pay it back into my Eon account to clear the debt balance.

I only found this out as something was telling me to check my Eon app.

Just wanted to let you know as you might want to check out your transactions with Eon.

I had already received the government money for October and November so it was nothing to with that.

It took over an hour on the phone to sort it out though.

Hopefully you accounts will be ok.

That sounds dodgy though transferring all that money

No it's not dodgy. Eon immediate put £67 back into my bank and then it was up to me to pay Eon from my app or the website. I could have just left my eon account in £67 debt but I wanted to pay it.
