Anyone else queuing for Peter Kay tickets?

I was 233,345th in the queue. Am now 121,392nd. And that's for a date that's just been added for May 2024!

I'm not going to get them am I? Anyone else?

I started at 159,000 at 10am and just got through. They bumped me along to the next available date at my venue which was end of July 24. So you may get through but they may offer you November 24 tickets if they’re still available.

Violashift · 12/11/2022 13:06

I got through but none left

Strawberry0909 · 12/11/2022 13:07

Have you tried on gigsandtours.com? I got through alot quicker than ticketmaster, it's one of the sites given as official seller

I sacked off TM & AXS, got straight through on See

VioletTopaz · 12/11/2022 13:09

About 30 mins ago, for the 2024 dates (which is mad, but there you go!)

hartof · 12/11/2022 13:12

When I got through they had January 2024, I thought it wasn't worth it as knowing Peter Kay hell either cancel again or it will be out on dvd by then anyway.

Floralnomad · 12/11/2022 13:13

My sister got them earlier today through AXS

Not sure how the queue system was working, we had a computer, iPad and two phones ready at just before 10am and we set them up all at the same time. One phone was put in the queue at 2000ish people ahead - the other devices were crazy (all 11000ish and above- some up in the 100,000s). The phone that was at 2000ish got us tickets in 7 minutes and we were able to get 5 quite good tickets for one of the London dates, all seated together

I am a seasoned ticket-getter; and I am fascinated about how the places in the queue were allocated. Ticket master is such a scammy company!

DueyCheatemAndHow · 12/11/2022 13:49

Well I got 2 tickets

For October 2024!!! Ha!

Lds1 · 12/11/2022 14:12

Used see tickets, was flexible on where to book for as long as it was a Saturday. Got 2 tickets easily.

Violashift · 12/11/2022 14:13

I got some for 2025. Agree probably be cancelled.

NCFT0922 · 12/11/2022 14:14

I’ve got 4 tickets for next summer 🙌🏼🙌🏼

cantthinkofabetterusername · 12/11/2022 14:19

I got tickets for sept 2024. I got mine on gigs and tours

PeeJayDay · 12/11/2022 14:23

When it's cancelled you won't get the booking fees back.

Doris86 · 12/11/2022 14:52

I joined the queue at 10 with about 125,000 people ahead of me. I got through at 11.45 but my chosen day of June 2023 was sold out. However I was able to switch to a different day without needing to queue again, and got some for May 2024. I think I was lucky in that the May 2024 dates were released just at the time I got to the top of the queue.

Idratherbepaddleboarding · 12/11/2022 16:10

We’ve got them… for Nov 2024, not too long to wait then…

theblackradiator · 12/11/2022 19:29

I gave up as I didn't want to book for almost 2 years away also they were supposed to be capped at 2010 prices of £35 according to the news but they were way more expensive than that my friend managed to get some for 2024 at £75 each cheeky fkers. x

theblackradiator · 12/11/2022 19:38

@hartof someone will put the whole show on YouTube the day after his first manchester show in December. I went to a concert recently and the following day someone had uploaded the whole concert onto YouTube. I wonder if he'll change the show up a bit or if it'll be the same show for the entire run?? I gave up too as didn't want to book for 2 years away I'm sure they'll be loads available and plenty of resale tickets available etc as a lot can happen in 2 years. Ed sheeran was apparently a sell out but there were loads of tickets available on the actual concert days we got some last minute ourselves.

I've just said to DH I wonder if he's doing the first Manchester dates in a few weeks to get the dvd out in time for Xmas! By that point everybody has bought their tickets anyway.

theblackradiator · 12/11/2022 19:44

@hartof yeah probably 🤣. Do people still buy dvds actually??

Well, no 😂 but Amazon prime or sky store

I sacked off ticketmaster as I was 190,000 in the queue, finally got tickets elsewhere for December 2023. I saw him on his last tour and my god he was hilarious so I’m just happy I’ve got some tickets. I’m going to avoid watching any of his show if it’s put on YouTube.
