Pain in vagina when on period

Ever since having DS 13 months ago, every time I get my period I get a pressure type pain in my vagina whenever I'm stood up. I never experienced this before having DS and I don't get the usual stomach cramps, just the pain down there. Has anyone else experienced this and know if it's normal?

Also I don't use tampons anymore, I recently swapped to pads and I'm preferring them but the pain is still the same.

If it's unusual for you then get it checked out. It could be anything or nothing. A hernia, prolapse or literally anything.

I have always had a pain or an ache while being on. But I agree with the pp. if different I would have it checked

I get a really weird sort of deep ache there.

Women often feel a pain like dull pressure usually only when standing/walking...like there's something heavy up there trying to get out! I found it particularly noticeable when I was younger..we used to call it "dragging weights" in school 🙈
