They have reminded me that I was - father made a brand new family when the first one was broken (dead child).
Him and step mother had two DS and they'd leave me out all the time. The classic was them 'accidentally' booking a holiday than ran into the start of new school year so sent me back to home on the train long distance (aged 11) whilst he the new wife and boys stayed on a the holiday rental.
