I'm crap at hair and need to do something with mine for a wedding, please help

I have shoulder length hair which is a mix of thick and also fine. It doesn't hold a style well. It's also a little bit too long but I don't have the time to get it cut before the wedding (next Sat).

What on earth can I do with it? I'm really crap at styling it and I'm already paying to get my make up done.

Honestly don't overthink it. I stuck mine in a ponytail and curled it a bit. took 3min and looked lovely.

Are you having bridesmaids? Can any of them do a simple French braid or ditch braid?

How about looking on Youtube for some ideas? I looked at a few videos before attempting my DD's prom hair, was very worthwhile as it looked lovely and very simple!

I have a round face and I've never managed to crack the 'simple ponytail'. I just look like I'm going to the gym.

Loose side fishtail braid.

guve yourself a big bouncy blow dry. Spray with some dry shampoo and then sweep hair into a low side ping with a loose hair band. At the top of the pony at the hair band, split it and pull it through. Then fish braid.secure at the bottom with a clear hair band. (You tube. So easy). When finished carefully cut the hair band off at the top and gently pull the braids on either side to create a bit of volume. Have some bits out framing your face as well.

How about a low ponytail tied loosely at the nape of your neck? Put a conditioning treatment on it this weekend to make it really shine.

Put your hair in a low pony just above the nape of your neck. When the bobbin is in slide in down a tiny bit make a little gap above it and thread the long part of the pony through the gap. Keep doing this until the tail of the pony is no longer visible and secure with Kirby grips. It’s so simple and looks put togehter. I’m not explaining very well perhaps someone can elaborate better as you need zero hair skills to do this.

Does it suit you to have your hair off your face? If so could you do a pony tail and do pin curls with the tail - that's easy to do at least.

If you would rather have it down style it then spray it and smooth your sprayed hair with the back of a hairbrush to hold it in place. It lasts for hours.
