Was very excited to find this in a basket at Tesco just now 🙂 I'm intrigued by the first item. I've never noticed them in any of the aisles.......

First item is garlic though?

Seems quite normal, uncontroversial and of course Tesco sell all those, full size supermarkets at least. Nothing specialist/'out there' at all.

Only thing I'm unsure about is what it says under shitake? 'my thing'?

I can never spell (or pronounce) Edamame beans either, I'd probably write Ed beans or noodle beans because that's what we have them with, which reminds me, we've nearly run out so need to get some more.

Not at all. It will either be the mixed bags or they want to choose what looks best/is best value on the day. A lot of seafood is priced depending on what is caught, so will vary significantly.

Looks like the sort of list I'd write. I just want to make sure I don't forget any essentials, but the list and what I actually buy might not look the same.

I love trying to read other people's handwriting. I think this one reads:

Garlic Yogurt
Eggs
Tomato puree Chocolate
Tomato Oat milk
Onion Teriaki sauce
Naan Pork steaks
Lazy ginger Edame beans
Shitake Bread Crumbs
(if cheap) Seafood

Not sure about the lazy ginger, but that's my best guess, partly inferring from what's on the rest of the list. Sounds like a nice meal!

I thought the ginger was preceded by a crossing out, but lazy ginger would explain why it's not next to garlic, which was bothering me slightly.

We get frozen crushed garlic and ginger cubes, so they'd be next to each other on the list.

Or it could be Gr standing for Ground. Looks more like that than Lazy.

But presumably the list writer knows what seafood they want/normally buy?
