Why is life so cruel

Sorry it's a bit of a depressing one.

I've just burst into tears because I just can't believe how life can be so cruel and unfair.

In the past 2 days, a teenage girl in my hometown was hit by a drug driver and killed. A lady I follow on social media has lost her 2 year old daughter to cancer. And at work today (healthcare) I found out one of our elderly patients was killed in an accident in the most horrific circumstances, right in front of his wife's eyes.

I don't know what the point of this post is, I guess I just needed to get it off my chest.

Times like these the saying 'everything happens for a reason' is pretty lame. :(

Sadly some people die young and/or in horrible circumstances.

But millions of others live until they old and pass away peacefully.

The media don’t publish Doreen Smith of Hull passed away in her sleep aged 95 after a long and happy life as no one is interested.

Freddy Brown age 12 killed after a tree fell on his head, is what people are drawn to reading.

Thats just the way it is. Try not to focus on the sadness surrounding these individuals.
