1yr old vomiting bug, do I still BF?

I know dairy can make vomiting bugs worse and he literally cannot hold anything down. I want to try and not feed him for say 6 hours but my husband is telling me a puking baby is better than a dehydrated one.
Which I do understand but like he fed at 10pm, fell asleep woke at 2am and projectile vommed all over bed. Got everything changed and he was rooting around for milk so I fed him and he projectile vommed again.
I've changed the bedsheets 3 times already and my change of clothes 6 times, I'm running out of baby clothes.

Help!

Forgot to say he had water around 8pm and vommed that up too. So I don't know what to do

Breastfeed! Small children get dehydrated really easily and it gets serious pretty fast, so feed him as much as he needs to

Yes you just have to keep bf even when they vomit. It won’t all be vomited up though.

Sympathies op, I've been there. I used to have towels everywhere but somehow the vomit always missed! Keep feeding though, as pp said he will be keeping small amounts down and you might find he actually feeds more. Crossing my fingers for you that he manages a decent block of sleep.
