I'm potentially moving house for the first time in a couple of weeks. I've been offered a council appartment and I'm going to look round it next week, potentially moving in dec if all is well.
What do I need to do/set up?
I literally know nothing 🙈
I work but I'm in receipt of UC, single altnerate with 2 children. I believe I can claim the housing element. The council want a month payment in advance but obviously UC is paid in arrears? Should I set up a meeting with UC/citizens advice?
What do I do about council tax, gas , electrics? Am I likely to have to pay anything up front?
Sorry I know I sound stupid, feeling a bit overwhelmed 🙈
