  • she didn't want to say sorry
  • she didn't like being told off
  • her tights felt funny on her toes
  • her brother chewed too loudly
  • her brother was dancing at breakfast
  • her brother

Sigh.

Anyone else have a slightly emotional small currently?

Dd(8) cried

  • she lost her tie
  • She missed me during maths
  • she didn't like the dance that she made up at break time (cried at bedtime!)

I also have a very nearly 3 year old so they compete for the 'most emotional outburst' award on a daily basis

  • the phone broke and doesn't work

  • having to pay for a new phone

  • no crisps left

  • sore arms from injections

  • back, hip, knee, neck hurts

  • having to wait until 8am for The Crown to be released

Yep, all the reasons why 51yr old me has cried this week!!

DD (8) cried because

  • her eyelid was itchy
  • I forgot her banana
  • her grandparents are coming over Thursday instead of Wednesday
  • She doesn’t have the same middle name as her cousin

Many more reasons I have erased from my memory .

I mean, tbf, those mostly sound legit reasons for a sob to me.

I cried because I was so tired but couldn't go to bed (because it was 7om and I had to clear up and put the kids to bed)
