HELP! With Secret Santa Gift Ideas - weird one.

Hi Mumsnetters,

My workplace are doing Secret Santa - but with a twist 🙄We have to buy something that is related to the persons initials. For example:

• Britney Spears - Body Spray
• David Beckham - Dirt Bike
• Harry Styles - Hand Sanitizer

You get the drift.

The person I picked out the hat initials are J P. Female. Mid 30s. £10 limit.

The only idea I can come up with is a bloody Jacket Potato. But who the fuck wants one of them for Xmas?😂

Any ideas massively appreciated.

Wow! Who made secret santa so complicated? It's hard enough making sure everyone actually brings in a present, on the right day, within the right budget (in my experience) without adding further rules on top. Good luck, op. I hope you get something nice in return too.

I love this secret Santa idea. It makes the whole thing actually fun and a point of discussion at the exchange instead of a boring exercise in buying the same old gifts yet again.

Me too - the best I could come up with was John Player Specials I don't think you can even buy them now.

My work one asked everyone to put down three things they like eg chocolate/ wine/ book so you have half a chance of getting something you like, much better.

My boss, before we made redundant, name began with J so I bought Jojoba shower gel. Could you do something simple like that?
