Looking to book a short trip (2-3 nights) at the end of November for me, DP and 13 month old DS. Max 2 hour drive from Newcastle. I notice most caravan parks are closed for the season at this time. Don't mind whether it's a hotel or lodge etc. Can anyone recommend anywhere good that is mainly suitable for DS and plenty for young kids to do? I'm useless at booking up trips and find booking abroad holidays much easier!
