Can colds take more than 48 hours to incubate?

My Manager who I spent two hours with had a cold on Sunday and also a girl I was training then went home sick with cold symptoms - it's over 52 hours since contact. I was training someone else all day who was sniffing, but I was more distanced from him other than checking on things over his shoulder occasionally.

Just wondering, as I've had the first signs of a sore throat/irritated nose in the last hour, and am hoping it's a cold and not covid as we have some nice things planned in the next week.

At least 48 hours I think.

Thanks for your reply. I'm fairly sure I've caught colds earlier than 48 hours, but good to know if could be longer.
