Leather bed - how to re-cover?

We bought a faux leather sleigh bed from Feather & Black about 12 years ago. The leather at the footboard has started to wear and come away.

Is it possible to have the bed re-covered?? Can anyone suggest anything to help? We don't want to get rid of the bed as it's lovely and v comfortable.

Lurking to see answers. I have a similar issue with a sofa and am hoping to have it recovered in fabric. I assume a reupholsterer can do this.....come to your house and do it hopefully?

Yeah. I've just googled and see that people have done this. Ideally, I'd want it covered in the same faux leather. That must be possible! Off to Google some more...

The Range sell the covering by the metre. All you need is a staple gun and some patience!
