I went to have a look round the house that we're buying today to check a couple of things on the survey and the estate agent and I were mulling about the purpose of a metal pole above the sink in the kitchen. It's an industrial pipe, probs about 50com long, that's vertical, bolted to the wall and has about 10 circular holes in it, each about 6 or 7cm in diameter. It sort of looks like a tiny wine rack but obviously you couldn't just shove the neck of the bottle in because it would balance out I think. So what is it for? The estate agent suggested it was for pots but, as with the one bottles, I don't think you'd able to balance them in there. Maybe tea towels? But it seems a bit excessive. So any ideas or any ideas about what I could use it for?
I do have a blurry pic but can't attach it for some reason.
