Moved cats litter tray outside is it attracting other cats?

Im trying to teach my cat to go outside to poo and wee. So i moved the litter tray to just outside my door. We tried mixing litter with soil further down the garden but she was just returning to do her business inside the litter tray . But since I've moved the tray outside so many cats keep coming to our garden. Im assuming they can smell the poo/wee? How do i get around this and successfully teach my cat to go outside? She's too scared when she sees the other cats and is very reluctant to go outside let alone go outside to poo. Surely my cat should be able to use her own garden? Any advice?

You don't need to teach your cat to go outside. My 2 did it by themselves and I didn't need to move the litter tray at all.

Bring the tray back inside

Your poor cat. They get very confused when their litter tray is moved and it can cause toileting problems. Please put it back inside and just remember to keep it clean for them and they will never give you any problems with peeing or pooing anywhere else. Some cats don’t feel comfortable doing it outside as they could feel vulnerable from other things.
