Has anyone ever worked for refuge before?

Thinking of applying for a job which suits me down to a T but a lot of their reviews online talk about workplace bullying. Curious to know if anyone has worked there before and what their experience was?

A friend of mine works there and some of the things she tells me are shocking. Her manager is totally incompetent, a bully and just downright nasty. Some of her colleagues are nice but the higher up staff are awful. She's been looking for a new job for a while now.
