How many children do you need for a party?

Planning DS's 5th birthday party. We've hired a small hall and a bouncy castle. Unfortunately a lot of people can't make it I think we're going to end up with about 12 guests. Is it enough?

I reckon we probably had similar numbers to that for our dc. Any more would be too chaotic!

Sounds an ideal number. When we were little the number of guests was our age. Parties were at home though then.

Sounds perfect, remember it will feel busier as they will all have a parent or two with them too! Whole class parties are absolute chaos - we dod one last year and never again!!

With 5 year olds that sounds like a perfect number. Any more than that and a bouncy castle is carnage

Agree with the others - 12 5 year olds and a bouncy castle is more than enough!

Great! Thanks.
I'll stop worrying about it then 😊
